A fast-paced project designed in collaboration with Design Ka:Tha, this 1500 sq.ft, 5 BHK home renovation was executed in just under 6 months. The existing layout was no longer relevant and the home required extensive work to meet the client’s current requirements.
Home to a family of 6 adults, care was taken to reflect the individuality of each occupant by giving each one a space they could identify with. The clients were inclined to a modern look and feel, and insisted on easy to maintain designs, which led us to create a low-fuss furniture palette.
The design brief also required us to balance the aesthetic with the practical by carving out tactfully concealed storage spaces to maximise utility and convenience for each person.
